Beylerbeyi Hamamı

Beylerbeyi Hamamı was built for the construction workers of Beylerbeyi Mosque. The construction date of the bath is 1778.  It’s designed and built by Mehmet Tahir who was chief architect of Ottoman Empire at that time. It is located on Yalıboyu Avenue.

The entrance door is on the right and the narrow and long yard welcomes you after you come in the door.  The bath has only one section. Its door open for women on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The rest of the days are for men.
